Kannada language action entertainer Kabzaa, which had a PAN-Indian release on March 17, 2023, is all set to premiere on an OTT platform even before it completes 30 days in cinema halls. According to reports, the digital premiere is scheduled for April 14, 2023, but Amazon Prime Video is yet to officially announce the film’s streaming date.

Kabzaa, which features Upendra, Shriya Saran, Sudeep and Shivarajkumar in cameo roles, opened to hugely mixed reviews. While some praised the film’s action sequences and performances, others criticized its storyline and pacing.

Adding to the controversy surrounding the film, its director R. Chandru recently lashed out at theater/multiplex owners, accusing them of tampering with the quality of his film. He claimed that the projection and sound quality were not up to the mark in some theaters, leading to a subpar viewing experience for audiences.

Despite the mixed reviews and controversy, Kabzaa has managed to generate buzz with its star-studded cast and action-packed trailer. It remains to be seen how the film will fare on the OTT platform and whether it will be able to attract a wider audience.
